Be good to your core. This high-loft vest provides such ultralight, compressible warmth, you won't think twice about throwing it in your pack for extra insulation against chilled weather. Its durable, high-quality synthetic insulation traps heat (even when wet), whether worn under a shell or layered over a top, and the polyester shell blocks wind and resists snow. It just got more earth-friendly, too: Patagonia now makes the entire garment with recycled polyester content. An interior zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack (with a carabiner clip-in loop), invisible zips close the two handwarmer pockets, and the main zipper is DWR (durable water repellent) coated. Off-the-shoulder seams are comfortable under shoulder straps, and a regular fit accommodates thick underlayers.

- Lining: 1.2 oz 22-denier polyester (50% recycled) with a Deluge® DWR finish
- Insulation: 3 oz Climashield® Green continuous filament polyester (40% recycled)
