Bamboo Power Ply - Bamboo is a remarkably sustainable material. By adding it as a power-generating deck-side ply Arbor not only gives their skates a super clean, Zen flavor - but also provides their customers with improved return and lasting durability. Crushed recycled glass is used in their clear re-grip to replace highly processed grip tapes. This allows the natural grain to remain visible, while providing better performance than the silica bead-based alternatives. All Arbor skates are produced using a water-based sanding sealer and final finish as the best way to help protect the air we all breath, especially when skating. All Arbor completes are shipped with recycled plastic risers, which helps both Arbor and their customers reduce their reliance on petroleum and contribution to land fills. All wood by-product created during the production of Arbor's skates are reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies, which helps stretch a key resource, while reducing the strain on land fills and forests.
